(1) The State and local governments shall, in order to achieve the purposes of this Act, enhance the interest and understanding of the people, support women in developing their vocational abilities and promoting their employment, and endeavor to eliminate all factors that hinder the realization of equal employment for men and women.
(2) The State and local governments shall support the efforts of employees and employers to balance work and family life, and shall endeavor to raise funds and create conditions necessary for supporting such balance.[This Article Wholly Amended on Dec. 21, 2007]
