(1) A trade union may, by its bylaws, establish a council of delegates, which may be substituted for a general meeting.
(2) Delegates shall be elected by members by direct, secret, and unsigned ballot.
(3) The representatives of a trade union organized for one business or one place of business shall be elected from among the trade union members engaged in the business or the place of business. <Added on Jan. 5, 2021>
(4) The term of office of the representatives shall be prescribed by the bylaws, but shall not exceed three years. <Amended on Jan. 5, 2021>
(5) When a board of representatives exists, the provisions governing a general meeting shall apply mutatis mutandis to the board of representatives. <Amended on Jan. 5, 2021>
