Equal Employment Opportunity and Work-family Balance Assistance Act — Article 19-5 (Other measures to support childcare)

남녀고용평등과 일ㆍ가정 양립 지원에 관한 법률 제19조의5

(1) An employer shall endeavor to take any of the following measures to support the childcare of an employee who raises a child aged 8 years or younger or in the second grade or lower of elementary school: <Amended on Jan. 20, 2015; Aug. 27, 2019>

1. Adjusting the starting and ending times of work;

2. Restricting overtime work;

3. Adjusting working hours, such as by reducing working hours or operating working hours flexibly;

4. Other measures necessary to support the childcare of the relevant employee.

(2) The Minister of Employment and Labor may provide necessary support, taking into account effects on employment, etc., where an employer takes measures under paragraph (1). <Amended on Jun. 4, 2010>[This Article Added on Dec. 21, 2007]
