(1) When a voyage or transportation has violated any statute, or the purpose of a contract cannot be attained due to force majeure, any of the relevant concerned may cancel the contract.
(2) When the contract has been cancelled in cases where a ground set forth in paragraph (1) arose on a voyage, a consignee shall pay the freight in proportion to the transportation already completed.[This Article Wholly Amended by Act No. 8581, Aug. 3, 2007]
