(1) The Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency may develop, survey, compile, and publish traffic safety indicators (hereinafter referred to as “traffic safety indicators”), calculated on the basis of the number of traffic accidents, the number of casualties, and other relevant data, in order to objectively measure the level of traffic safety in each region.
(2) The head of a local government may incorporate the results published under paragraph (1) in formulating traffic policies.
(3) Matters necessary for survey items, methods, etc. of traffic safety indicators shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.[This Article Added on Jan. 7, 2025]
