(1) The Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency shall establish and operate an integrated management system for protection areas in order to collect, manage, and disclose information on protection areas for children under Article 12 and protection areas for senior citizens and persons with disabilities under Article 12-2.
(2) The Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency may request the Mayor, etc. to provide information necessary for operating the integrated management system for protection areas established pursuant to paragraph (1), and upon receipt of such request, the Mayor, etc. shall comply therewith unless there is good cause.
(3) Matters necessary for the establishment and operation of the integrated management system for protection areas, request for information, etc. under paragraphs (1) and (2) shall be prescribed by Joint Ministerial Decree of Education, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.[This Article Added on Jan. 3, 2023]
