(1) A business owner shall assign an occupational health physician to the place of business for providing guidance on health management of employees and the duties of health officers; provided, this shall not apply where a physician defined in Article 2 of the Medical Service Act is assigned as a health officer.
(2) The type of business and the number of regular employees at a place of business required to have an occupational health physician referred to in paragraph (1) (hereinafter referred to as "occupational health physician"); the qualifications, duties, authority, and appointment method of an occupational health physician; and other necessary matters shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
