The Minister of Justice shall delegate his or her authority to grant extensions of the permitted period of reentry to the head of an overseas diplomatic mission pursuant to Article 30 (4) of the Act where a person who has obtained permission for reentry (including a person exempted from obtaining permission for reentry) pursuant to Article 30 (1) of the Act cannot reenter the Republic of Korea within the permitted period or the exemption period due to no available ship, etc., a disease or other exceptional circumstances after his or her departure from the Republic of Korea.[This Article Wholly Amended on Nov. 1, 2011]
