(1) When cargo arrives at the place of destination, a consignee may claim delivery of the cargo: Provided, That this shall not apply where a consignor exercises the right to claim a disposition pursuant to Article 917 (1).
(2) When cargo arrives at the place of destination, a carrier shall notify a consignee thereof without delay.[This Article Newly Inserted by Act No. 10696, May 23, 2011]
