If a passenger has become incapable of making a voyage because of death, illness or other force majeure before departure, a carrier may claim 30 percent of the fare, and if such ground has arisen after departure, a carrier may, at his/her option, claim either 30 percent of the fare or the fare in proportion to the transportation already completed.[This Article Wholly Amended by Act No. 8581, Aug. 3, 2007]
