(1) A consignor shall provide a carrier with cargo at the time and place agreed upon between the parties or by usage of trade of a port of loading.
(2) Where a consignor has not provided cargo at the time and place mentioned in paragraph (1), a contract shall be deemed cancelled. In such cases, a shipmaster may depart at once and a consignor shall pay the full amount of the freight.[This Article Wholly Amended by Act No. 8581, Aug. 3, 2007]
