(1) In cases of an insurance contract covering death as a peril insured, no insurer shall be exempt from responsibility for the payment of the amount of insurance coverage even in cases where the occurrence of the peril insured is the result of gross negligence of the policyholder or insured, or beneficiary of the insurance policy.
(2) Where any of two or more beneficiaries of the insurance policy has caused death of the insured by intention, the insurer shall not be exempt from the responsibility for the payment of the amount of insurance coverage to the other beneficiaries of the insurance policy.[This Article Wholly Amended by Act No. 12397, Mar. 11, 2014]
