Commercial Act — Article 620 (Liquidation of Assets Existing in Republic of Korea)

상법 제620조

(1) If the court has ordered a business office of a foreign company to be closed in accordance with paragraph (1) of the preceding Article, it may order the commencement of the liquidation process in respect of the company's entire assets existing in the Republic of Korea, upon request of any interested person or ex officio. In such cases, the court shall appoint a liquidator.

(2) The provisions of Articles 535 through 537 and 542, except for those which are by nature inapplicable, shall apply mutatis mutandis to liquidation under the preceding paragraph.

(3) The provisions of the preceding two paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis where a foreign company has voluntarily closed its business office.
