(1) Books of a company and all important documents relating to its business and liquidation shall be retained for a period of ten years from the date of registration of the completion of liquidation at the place of the principal office: Provided, That the slips and similar documents shall be retained for five years. <Amended by Act No. 5053, Dec. 29, 1995>
(2) With regard to the retention under the preceding paragraph, the court shall appoint a custodian and shall determine the method of retention, upon request by a liquidator or any other interested person.
