Commercial Act — Article 181 (Registration for Establishment of Branch Offices)

상법 제181조

(1) If a branch office is established simultaneously with the incorporation of the company, matters listed in the main body of subparagraph 1 of Article 180 (excluding the places of other branch offices) and in subparagraphs 3 through 5 of the same Article shall be registered at the location of such branch office within two weeks of the registration for incorporation: Provided, That in cases where a member who is to represent the company has been designated, other members shall not be registered.

(2) If a branch office is established after the incorporation of the company, the place and establishment date of such branch office shall be registered within two weeks at the location of the principal office, and matters listed in the main body of subparagraph 1 of Article 180 (excluding the places of other branch offices) and in subparagraphs 3 through 5 of the same Article shall be registered within three weeks at the place of such branch office: Provided, That in cases where a member who is to represent the company has been designated, other members shall not be registered.[This Article Wholly Amended by Act No. 10600, Apr. 14, 2011]
