(1) A person prescribed by Presidential Decree, such as any of the parties to an investigation under Article 7 or an agent, may file with the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, a Mayor/Do Governor, or the head of a Si/Gun/Gu a request for access to or copying of materials related to the investigation under Article 7. In such cases, the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, a Mayor/Do Governor, or the head of a Si/Gun/Gu shall comply, except for any of the following materials:
1. Trade secrets under subparagraph 2 of Article 2;
2. Other non-disclosure materials under other statutes.
(2) The procedures and methods for inspection or copying under paragraph (1) and other necessary matters shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.[This Article Newly Inserted on Feb. 20, 2024]
