Procedures followed by a person who has no legal capacity or authority of legal representation, or who has any defect in the delegation of authority necessary to follow trademark-related procedures shall take effect retroactive to the time he or she performed an act if the party whose defect has been rectified or his or her legal representative confirms such procedures.
