(1) When a road management agency has performed any of the following acts on a road, it shall immediately notify the details thereof to the Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency in cases of expressways and to the chief of the competent police station in cases of roads, other than expressways: <Amended on Jun. 8, 2011; Jan. 14, 2014>
1. Permission for occupying and using the road provided for in Article 61 of the Road Act;
2. Prohibition against or restrictions on traffic flow provided for in Article 76 of the Road Act or restrictions on motor vehicles provided for in Article 77 of that Act.

(3) When deemed necessary to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic, the Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency or the chief of the competent police station in receipt of notification under paragraph (1) may request the road management agency to take necessary measures therefor.
