Where a person who has received personal information under the proviso, with the exception of the subparagraphs, of Article 28-8 (1) transfers such personal information to a third country, Articles 28-8 and 28-9 shall apply mutatis mutandis. In such cases, "personal information controller" shall be deemed as "person who has received personal information," and "person to whom personal information is to be transferred" as "person to whom personal information is to be transferred in a third country."[This Article Added on Mar. 14, 2023]
