(1) Upon receipt of a petition for trial, the President of the Korean Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board shall allocate the case to administrative patent judges for trial.
(2) The qualification for administrative patent judges shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
(3) Administrative patent judges shall maintain independence in performing their duties to examine a case on trial.[This Article Wholly Amended on Jun. 11, 2014]
