Labor Standards Act — Article 102-2 (Request for Provision of Data)

근로기준법 제102조의2

(1) In order to protect the working conditions prescribed in this Act, the Minister of Employment and Labor may request the heads of central administrative agencies, local governments, or relevant institutions and organizations, such as the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, to provide the following information or data and to use relevant computer networks:

1. Data on global income under Article 4 (1) 1 of the Income Tax Act;

2. Data on reporting the insured status under Articles 13 and 15 of the Employment Insurance Act;

3. Other information or data prescribed by Presidential Decree as necessary for protecting working conditions of employees.

(2) A person requested to provide data pursuant to paragraph (1) shall comply with such request, unless there is good cause.

(3) Fees, usage fees, etc. shall be exempt for the data provided pursuant to paragraph (1).[This Article Newly Inserted on Oct. 22, 2024][Enforcement Date: Oct. 23, 2025] Article 102-2
