Immigration Act — Article 90-2 (Responsibility to bear expenses for departure of illegally employed aliens)

출입국관리법 제90조의2

(1) The Minister of Justice may require an employer of an alien not granted status of stay that entitles the alien to engage in job-seeking activities (hereinafter referred to as "illegal employer") to fully or partially bear expenses incurred in departing the alien from the Republic of Korea.

(2) Where expenses are borne by the National Treasury due to an illegal employer’s failure to fulfill his or her responsibility to bear expenses under paragraph (1), the Minister of Justice may exercise the right to indemnity against the illegal employer.[This Article Wholly Amended on May 14, 2010]
