Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act — Article 42-7 (Provisions of statutes excluded from application at time of request for transmission)

“Provisions of statutes prescribed by Presidential Decree” in Article 35-2 (4) 3 of the Act means the following provisions:

1. Article 32 of the Credit Information Use and Protection Act;

2. Article 4 of the Act on Real Name Financial Transactions and Confidentiality;

3. Articles 17 and 18 of the Act;

4. Article 54-5 of the Specialized Credit Finance Business Act;

5. Article 33 (4) of the Act on Online Investment-Linked Financial Business and Protection of Users;

6. Article 21 of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act;

7. Article 21 (2) of the Medical Service Act;

8. Article 30 (3) of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act;

9. Article 52 (2) of the Bioethics and Safety Act;

10. Article 85 (2) of the Inheritance Tax and Gift Tax Act;

11. Article 57 of the Adjustment of International Taxes Act;

12. Article 23 (3) of the Smart Grid Construction and Utilization Promotion Act.[This Article Added on Feb. 25, 2025]
