Except as provided in the Act and this Decree, the Protection Commission may establish the Standard Personal Information Protection Guidelines referred to in Article 12 (1) of the Act regarding the standards for installing and operating fixed visual data processing devices and for operating mobile visual data processing devices, the entrusting of their installation and operation, and other matters; and may encourage fixed visual data processing device operators and persons who operate mobile visual data processing devices to comply with the Standard Guidelines. <Amended on Mar. 23, 2013; Nov. 19, 2014; Jul. 26, 2017; Aug. 4, 2020; Sep. 12, 2023>[Moved from Article 27 <Sep. 12, 2023>]
