(1) The chairperson shall convene and chair meetings of the Immigration Detention Review Committee.
(2) Where the chairperson intends to convene a meeting, he or she shall notify each member of the date, time, venue, and agenda of the meeting by no later than 5 days before the meeting is held; provided, this shall not apply to cases if there is an urgent or unavoidable reason.
(3) If necessary for the smooth operation of the Immigration Detention Review Committee, the chairperson may designate specific members of the Committee to have them examine agenda items in advance and report the agenda items to the Immigration Detention Review Committee.
(4) The Immigration Detention Review Committee or subcommittees established under Article 66-14 of the Act (hereinafter referred to as "subcommittees") may hear opinions of persons who has specialized knowledge or extensive experience, if necessary for deliberation and resolution.[This Article Added on May 27, 2025]
