Electronic Financial Transactions Act — Article 23 (Issuance and limit of use of electronic payment means)

전자금융거래법 제23조

(1) The Financial Services Commission may require a financial company or an electronic financial business entity to set the following limits or take other necessary measures, in consideration of the characteristics of electronic payment means, as prescribed by Presidential Decree: <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008; May 22, 2013>

1. The upper limit of the face value of an electronic currency and prepaid electronic payment means to be issued;

2. The limit of use of electronic funds transfer;

3. The limit of use of electronic debit payment means.

(2) The Financial Services Commission may require a financial company or an electronic financial business entity to set the upper limit of cash withdrawal from electronic apparatus or may take other necessary measures, as prescribed by Presidential Decree. <Added on May 22, 2013>[Title Amended on May 22, 2013]
