(1) When the head of a customs office intends to sell foreign goods under Article 208 (1), he or she shall serve a notice on the owner of such goods, etc. that he or she is required to export, import or return the relevant goods within one month from the date of such notice. <Amended on Dec. 31, 2022>
(2) Where it is impossible to serve a notice on the owner of goods, etc. under paragraph (1) because of the failure to identify the owner, etc. or his or her whereabouts, such notice may be published instead.[This Article Wholly Amended on Dec. 30, 2010]
