Criminal Act — Article 324 (Coercion)

형법 제324조

(1) A person who obstructs another from exercising his or her right by violence or intimidation, or coerces one to do any unobliged work, shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more than five years or by a fine not exceeding 30 million won. <Amended on Dec. 29, 1995; Jan. 6, 2016>

(2) A person who commits the crime of paragraph (1) by the threat of collective force or by carrying a dangerous weapon shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more ten years or by a fine not exceeding 50 million won. <Newly Inserted on Jan. 6, 2016>
