A person who delivers a child under 16 years of age who is under his or her protection or supervision over to a proprietor or his or her operator who will employ the child in such hard work as is dangerous to life or body, shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more than five years. The same shall apply to the other participant who hires a child for such purpose.
