(1) A person who, by polluting clean water which is used for daily drinking water, renders such water unfit for that use, shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more than one year or by a fine not exceeding five million won.
(2) A person who puts into drinking water specified in paragraph (1) poisonous materials or other substances which may harm health, shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for not more than ten years.[This Article Wholly Amended on Dec. 8, 2020]
