A person who organizes a syndicate or group with the intent to commit a crime punishable by death or imprisonment with labor for an indefinite term or for at least four years or who joins such syndicate or group or becomes a member of such syndicate or group shall be punished by the penalty prescribed for the intended crime: Provided, That the penalty may be mitigated.[This Article Wholly Amended on Apr. 5, 2013]
