(1) Where the Commission becomes aware that registration under Article 53 or 54 falls under any of Article 55 (2) 1 through 3 and 5, it may cancel the registration ex officio.
(2) Where the Commission intends to cancel registration pursuant to paragraph (1), it shall hold a hearing; provided, this shall not apply where grounds for cancellation under paragraph (1) are confirmed by a final and conclusive judgment.
(3) If the Commission cancels registration without holding a hearing under the proviso of paragraph (2), it shall notify a copyright registrant or a third party with interest of the fact of cancellation.[This Article Added on Feb. 4, 2020]
