Civil Act — Article 851 (Death of husband before birth of child and denial of paternity)

If the husband dies before the birth of a child or the husband or wife dies within the period mentioned in Article 847(1), only the lineal ascendant or lineal descendant of the husband or wife may bring an action of denial of paternity within two years from the day on which he or she becomes aware of the death.[This Article Wholly Amended on Mar. 31, 2005]
