(1) Where a mandatary has defrayed any expenses incurred in management of the entrusted affairs, he or she may demand from the mandator the reimbursement of such expenses with interest thereon from the day they were defrayed.
(2) Where a mandatary has assumed a debt necessary for the management of the entrusted affairs, he or she may request the mandator to repay the debt on behalf of him or her, if the debt is not due, to furnish adequate security. <Amended on Dec. 30, 2014>
(3) Where a mandatary, without any negligence on his or her part, sustains a loss in the course of managing the entrusted affairs, he or she may demand compensation therefor from the mandator.
