Where an obligor has delayed the performance of an obligation, and the obligor fails to perform the obligation within a reasonable period set and notified by the obligee, or performance after delay is no longer profitable for the obligee, the obligee may refuse to accept such obligation and claim compensation in lieu of performance. <Amended on Dec. 30, 2014>
