(1) If through the process of partition, a piece of land has lost access to a public road, the owner of such land may, in order to reach a public road, pass over the land partitioned. In such case no compensation is obliged.
(2) The preceding paragraph shall apply mutatis mutandis where the owner of land assigns part of his or her land.
