(1) A declaration of intention made by an agent, within the scope of his or her authority while disclosing the fact that he or she is acting for a principal, shall be effective directly against the principal.
(2) The preceding paragraph shall apply mutatis mutandis to a declaration of intention made by a third person to an agent.
